Salient Research Achievements/works

Ms. Kavita Mundankar, has seven years of experience in software development. She has expertise in the development of Information Systems. At NRCG she has developed software “Grape Germplasm Information System” that serves as a ready-reckoner-kit for getting character information on grape germplasm. She has also developed  software “NRCG-SAKI PMExpert” for management of powdery mildew disease for Indian vineyards,  that assist grower’s in day to day decision making based on expert technical knowledge for management of powdery mildew disease.

 Seminar / conference

She participated in First National Conference on Agro Informatics held at Dharwad, Karnataka on 3-4 June 2001.

Participated in the ‘International Symposium on Grape Production and Processing’ held during 6-11th Feb. 2006, at Baramati, Pune. Presented posters for research papers with titles ‘An expert system for the powdery mildew management of grapes in India’ and ‘Information system for grape germplasm in India’.

2. Web page designing and information system on Internet at IARI, New Delhi
