Mrs. Shalini is involved in research on insect pest management in grapes. In M.Sc. she worked on taxonomy of Pentatomidae (Hemiptera: Pentatomoidea) from Karnataka.

Awards and Scholarship

Mrs. Shalini has got following awards and scholarships

1.   Walk the Extra mile Award from Monsanto Research Centre, Banaglore.

2.   Awarded ICAR’s Junior Research Fellowship for doing M. Sc . from UAS, Bangalore.

3.   Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) examination (2006) conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi.

4.   Selected as Scientist in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) examination (2007), in the discipline of Agricultural Entomology, conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi.
