The ICAR-National Research Centre for Grapes under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi was established on 18th January 1997 at Manjri, Pune, with the following mandate
  • Strategic and applied research on safe grape production and productivity.
  • Transfer of technology and capacity building of stakeholders for enhanced and sustained production of grapes.
  • National Referral Laboratory for Food Safety and Pesticide residue in fruits.

  • Recommendations on applications of chemicals in any publication is valid for the year of publication. However the information related to viticultural practices is relevant after the year of publication also.

  • Recommendations for use of chemicals are only based on CIB & RC label claims and are mentioned in Annexure 5 of residue monitoring plan of NRL, which is updated regularly.  Any scientific literature on the website mentioning use of any chemical related to research results may not be treated as recommendations.
